Nanoteknologi
Nanoteknologi mencakup pengembangan teknologi dalam skala nanometer, biasanya 0,1 sampai 100 nm (satu nanometer sama dengan seperseribu mikrometer atau sepersejuta milimeter). Istilah ini kadangkala diterapkan ke teknologi sangat kecil. Artikel ini membahas nanoteknologi, ilmu nano, dan nanoteknologi molekular "conjecture".
Istilah nanoteknologi kadangkala disamakan dengan nanoteknologi molekul (juga dikenal sebagai "MNT"), sebuah conjecture bentuk tinggi nanoteknologi dipercayai oleh beberapa dapat dicapai dalam waktu dekat di masa depan, berdasarkan nanosistem yang produktif. Nanoteknologi molekul akan memproduksi struktur tepat menggunakan mechanosynthesis untuk melakukan produksi molekul. Nanoteknologi molekul, meskipun belum ada, dipromosikan oleh para pendukungnya nantinya akan memiliki dampak yang besar dalam masyarakat bila benar-benar terjadi.
