Adelaide Hall
Adelaide Louise Hall (20 Oktober 1901 – 7 November 1993) adalah penyanyi dan penghibur jazz kelahiran Amerika Serikat. Kariernya yang panjang membentang lebih dari 70 tahun dari 1921 sampai kematiannya dan dia adalah tokoh utama di Harlem Renaissance.[2][3][4][5] Ia masuk dalam jajaran Guinness Book of World Records tahun 2003 sebagai artis rekaman paling bertahan di dunia yang merilis materi lebih dari delapan dekade berturut-turut.[6] Dia tampil dengan artis besar seperti Art Tatum,[7] Ethel Waters, Josephine Baker, Louis Armstrong, Lena Horne, Cab Calloway, Fela Sowande,[8] Rudy Vallee, serta Jools Holland, dan merekam lagu sebagai penyanyi jazz dengan Duke Ellington (bersama mereka membuat rekaman paling terkenal, "Creole Love Call" pada tahun 1927)[9] turut ikut pula Fats Waller.[10][11]
