Abū al-Ḥasan al-Ashʿarī (الأشعري; nama lengkap: Abū al-Ḥasan ʿAlī ibn Ismāʿīl ibn Isḥāq al-Ashʿarī; c. 874–936 M/260–324 H) sering disebut sebagai Imam al-Asyʿari oleh Muslim Sunni, adalah seorang sarjana Muslim Arab dari yurisprudensi Syafi'i, penafsir kitab suci, pembaharu (mujaddid), dan teolog skolastik (mutakallim), yang terkenal sebagai pendiri eponymous dari teologi Islam yang dikenal sebagai Asy'ariyah.[1][2][3][4][5]
