Bandara lainnya adalah Avalon Airport yang terletak antara Melbourne dan Geelong.
Untuk ke kota lain di Australia dengan kendaraan, Melbourne memiliki jaringan jalan bebas hambatan yang sangat memadai. Antara Melbourne dan Sydney dapat melalui Hume Highway yang juga melalui kota lain seperti Goulburn dan Yass. Untuk ke Adelaide, tersedia Princes Highway.

Transportasi umum di Melbourne dilayani oleh kereta api, trem, dan bus. Layanan ini sudah terintegrasi dalam jaringan bernama Metlink sehingga satu karcis dapat digunakan untuk ketiga layanan tersebut.

- Twelve Apostles, merupakan formasi batu yang terjadi karena erosi.
- Loch Ard Gorge, diambil dari nama kapal yang hanyut di sana merupakan salah satu hasil erosi juga.
- London Arch, objek wisata ini dulu dikenal dengan nama London Bridge yang juga merupakan hasil erosi. Bebatuan di sana dulu membentuk jembatan dengan sebuah penopang alami di tengah namun bagian yang dekat dengan pantai sudah runtuh.
- Lorne dan Apollo Bay, kedua kota ini terletak di pinggir pantai.
- Ballarat dengan atraksi Sovereign Hill, sebuah objek wisata berupa desa kecil yang menggambarkan zaman perburuan emas dahulu.
