Pierre Janet

Pierre Marie Félix Janet atau Pierre Janet (bahasa Prancis: [ʒanɛ]; 30 May 1859 – 24 February 1947) adalah seorang psikolog, dokter, filsuf, dan psikoterapis Prancis yang terkemuka dalam bidang disosiasi dan memori traumatis. [1] Ia adalah seorang psikolog dan neurolog Prancis yang berpengaruh dalam menghubungkan psikologi akademis dengan pengobatan klinis penyakit mental di Prancis dan Amerika Serikat. Dia menekankan pentingnya faktor psikologis dalam hipnosis dan memberikan kontribusi terhadap konsep modern mengenai gangguan mental dan emosional, termasuk kecemasan, fobia, dan perilaku abnormal lainnya.
