Meryl Streep
Mary Louise Streep (lahir 22 Juni 1949) adalah seorang aktris teater, televisi, film Amerika Serikat. Streep melakukan debut pentas pertamanya dalam The Playboy of Seville di tahun 1971 dan peran pertamanya dalam film-televisi The Deadliest Season. Debut aktingnya dimulai dalam film Julia di tahun 1977.

Sukses secara komersil membuatnya kemudian berperan dalam The Deer Hunter bersama Robert De Niro dan Kramer vs. Kramer dengan Dustin Hoffman membuat Streep menerima nominasi pertamanya dalam Academy Awards, dan kemudian memenangkannya. Ia juga memenangkan Academy Award keduanya ditahun 1982, lewat film Sophie's Choice Ia adalah pemegang rekor nominasi terbanyak (aktor dan aktris) dalam sejarah Oscar dengan 16 nominasi. Streep kemudian dipertimbangkan sebagai salah satu aktris yang paling dihormati dan paling berbakat sepanjang masa.
