Your changes on the English and this Wikipedia are not verifiable. They are in contradiction with the verified previous values.

Since it's impossible to verify your very significant changes, I consider it as vandalism. So please stop modifying these values, or add you sources.

I have just seen your last changes.

Daftar wilayah metropolitan menurut jumlah penduduk give the population of the metropolitan area, and the template indicates the population of the city.

So you don't make vandalism (sorry for that), but your modifications are wrong.

On the article there is a distinction between the city population and the metropolitan area population. So I think you are wrong.
