Media Studies

Hi Kolja, assuming that you are from Germany? Yes? My user name on EN is Serenity id and yes, affirmative that I am inputing a lot of communication/ media stuff into id Wikipedia. Now, two things:

1. Categories, content is my field, it's my stuff, unfortunately the one that made the category isn't me. I add things randomly here and if I didn't forget (and I forgot a lot), I usually categorize it under "communication". Why someone would categorize it under media studies, I have no idea, but I trust his judgement.
2. Article: media studies. Now, I checked both EN and Simple. I have the understanding that we don't have media studies as a sole major in Indonesia, it's either merged in mass communication or marketing communication. To tell you the truth, University of Indonesia (one of the leading university in Indo) did not even want to acknowledge communication as a separate major, it is still under social study. What this got to do with your request on translating a tiny article? Well, I am one of those idealist that unsure about translating article if I don't find it: a) important nor b) I don't understand what is it about. But sure, I will classify that as a request, and if I found anything that I would like to exist in wikipedia de let's swap (cos I will need to do some research about this).
