Erwin H Noekman

Erwin is a chartered (re)insurance and (re)takaful practitioner holding professional designations from Charted Insurance Institute - England, Malaysian Insurance Institite and Indonesian Insurance Institute. Recently he was awarded Associateship from Islamic Insurance Society in Indonesia.

As to his education attainment, he holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Liverpool, England and Bachelor of Engineering from Trisakti University, Jakarta.

He has more than 15 years of colourful experience with sound knowledge of general (re)insurance and (re)takaful industry, in Indonesia and international. Up to mid-November 2015, he was responsible for developing "Jasindo Takaful" - a takaful window of Asuransi Jasindo. He was responsible in all activities and operations of the takaful business, including but not limited to underwriting, retakaful, claim handling, marketing plan, promotion, budgeting, investment, IT system and compliance.

During period of 2014-2015 he sat as Vice Chairman - Inter Institutional Relation and Media Communication cum Spokeperson at Indonesia Takaful Association (AASI), and was actively promoting the (re)takaful industry.

His other assignment was acting as a Principal Officer (PO) of Asian Forum Inc (Labuan), a captive company registered in Labuan (Malaysia) which owned equally by Etiqa Malaysia, GSIS Philipine and Jasindo. He also chaired the Technical Committee.

Currently, Erwin lives in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and works for Masarat al Tameen, where he venture his new role as broker in Middle-east. He shares his thoughts, views, opinions and knowledge at www.erwin-noekman.com and @erwin_noekman.
