Pinna nobilis adalah sebuah spesies besar dari kerang Laut Tengah, sebuah moluska bivalve laut dalam Pinnidae. Spesies tersebut dapat memiliki panjang sampai 120 cm (4 ft).[1]
Penjelasan
suntingKerang bivalve tersebut biasanya memiliki panjang 30–50 cm (1,0–1,6 ft),[2] namun dapat pula mencapai 120 cm (4 ft).[1] Bentuknya berbeda tergantung pada kawasan yang ia huni. Seperti halnya seluruh spesies dari Pinnidae, spesies tersebut relatif rentan terhadap polusi dan pengrusakan cangkang.
