Robert N. Proctor
Robert Neel Proctor (kelahiran 1954) adalah seorang sejarawan sains Amerika dan Profesor Sejarah Sains di Universitas Stanford.[1] Ketika menjabat sebagai profesor sejarah sains di Universitas Negara Bagian Pennsylvania pada tahun 1999, dia menjadi sejarawan pertama yang menentang industri tembakau.[2]
Di Universitas Negara Bagian Pennsylvania, dia dan istrinya, Londa Schiebinger, wakil direksi Sains, Medis, dan Teknologi di Program Budaya Program untuk sembilan tahun. Pada sebuah pertemuan di Harvard, mereka mendapatkan gelar master dan gelar doktor pada tahun 1977 dan 1984.[3]
