Rosewood Hotels & Resorts adalah jaringan hotel mewah yang sudah ada sejak tahun 1979. Didirikan di Amerika Serikat, jaringan ini dibeli oleh New World Hospitality, anak usaha dari Chow Tai Fook Enterprises, pada tahun 2011, dan sekarang berkantor pusat di Hong Kong. Hingga tahun 2024, Rosewood mengelola 36 hotel yang tersebar di seluruh dunia.[1]

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts didirikan oleh Caroline Rose Hunt, putri dari taipan minyak Haroldson Lafayette "H. L." Hunt, pada tahun 1979, awalnya sebagai cabang perhotelan dari The Rosewood Corporation yang didirikan tiga tahun silam. Hotel pertama Rosewood, The Mansion on Turtle Creek, berada di Turtle Creek, sebuah daerah berkelas atas di Dallas. H. L. Hunt merupakan salah satu orang terkaya di dunia pada masanya, dan, melalui kesuksesan Rosewood dan bisnis lainnya, Caroline sendiri sempat berstatus sebagai wanita terkaya di Amerika Serikat.[2][3]

Pada bulan Juni 2011, Caroline Hunt menjual Rosewood kepada New World Hospitality, cabang perhotelan dari perusahaan asal Hong Kong bernama New World China Land yang dibawahi oleh konglomerat Chow Tai Fook. Selain Rosewood, New World Hospitality juga memiliki dan mengelola sejumlah hotel di Tiongkok Raya di bawah merek lain. Transaksi tersebut dilansir mencapai US$229,5 juta (HK$S1,79 miliar).[4] Melalui akuisisi tersebut, New World Hospitality hendak menggandakan jumlah properti Rosewood dalam 5 tahun ke depan.[5]

Pada tahun 2013, New World Hospitality bersalin nama menjadi Rosewood Hotel Group, mengikuti merek paling tersohor mereka.[6]
