Terminal ini dibuka pada Olimpiade Los Angeles 1984 dan diberi nama Tom Bradley, wali kota Los Angeles Afro-Amerika pertama dengan jabatan terpanjang, yaitu selama 20 tahun. Terminal ini terletak di ujung barat area terminal penumpang di antara Terminal 3 dan 4. Terdapat 34 maskapai penerbangan yang menggunakan Terminal Internasional Tom Bradley dan dapat melayani 10 juta penumpang per tahunnya. Terminal ini hanya memiliki 12 gerbang non-remote; meskipun terdapat dalam proyek renovasi senilai $723 juta, proyek ini tidak memiliki rencana untuk membangun gerbang lain.[3]
