Dayuan
Dayuan (Ta-yuan; pengucapan Tionghoa Kuno yang direkonstruksi: /daːds qon/; pengucapan Tionghoa Pertengahan yang direkonstruksi menurut Edwin G. Pulleyblank: /daj ʔuan/; Hanzi: 大宛; Pinyin: Dàyuān; Wade–Giles: Ta4-yuan1; harfiah: 'Ionia Besar') adalah sebuah negara di lembah Ferghana, Asia Tengah, yang disebutkan dalam karya-karya sejarah Tionghoa Catatan Sejarawan Besar dan Buku Han. Kata tersebut disebutkan dalam catatan-catatan dari penjelajah Tiongkok terkenal Zhang Qian pada 130 SM dan sejumlah kedutaan besar yang mengikutinya ke Asia Tengah. Negara Dayuan umumnya dikaitkan dengan Lembah Ferghana, dan kota Yunani-nya Eskat Aleksandria (sekarang Khujand, Tajikistan).
